Bio: Al Bermudez Pereira a Sanford Florida resident is a Hispanic American writer. He is known for writing his first book Sing Sing State Prison One Day One Lifetime ISBN 978-0-8059-7290-0 and soon to be published in 2009 Ruins of a Society and the Honorable. Al Bermudez Pereira worked as a New York State Correction Officer at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill NY 1985 transfering to Sing Sing Maximum Security Prison in December 1985. He later returned to Downstate Correctional Facility in 1997 and retired from New York State Department of Correctional Services receiving his Department of Correctional Services Certificate of Appreciation by then Commissioner Glenn S. Goord.
